SUMMARY:Meadow Brush Clearing at Morrison Farm
DESCRIPTION:Please join the Acton Land Stewards on  Wednesday August 5\, 2020 9AM to 11AM as we clear brush growing in along the edge of one of our meadows at Morrison Farm.  Tasks include: Hauling brush and logs out of the meadow; Cutting down small trees which the mower can not reach; Removing rocks which have rolled off the stone walls into the meadow; Moving brush to block old trails; and Chainsawing to clear big downed trees. (Only town employees with training are allowed to use chainsaws) Please bring work gloves\, pruning loppers\, bow saws\, water and a mask.  We will space people out so they are safely distanced.  Expect some poison ivy and briers.
